FuelRadar is operated by Xaviour AI Limited, Ireland. This policy explains what the FuelRadar iOS app and this website collect, why, and what you can do about it. Contact: support@joblar.com.

What we collect

• An anonymous identifier. The app signs in anonymously so your price reports and confirmations can be counted and abuse can be prevented. We do not ask for your name, email or phone number.
• A random install identifier. Used only to limit how often one device can report, to prevent spam.
• Your location, while you use the app. Your approximate position is sent when the app loads nearby stations. It is used to answer that request and is not stored.
• Photos of price boards. When you use the camera, the photo is uploaded over an encrypted connection to servers in Ireland, read automatically with Amazon Rekognition to find the prices, and deleted after one day. Photos are never shown to other people or used for anything else.
• Price reports. When you tap Confirm, we store the station, the fuel prices, the time, whether each price was new, changed or confirmed, and your anonymous identifier. Prices are shown to other drivers without any personal details.
• Support emails. If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply.

What we don't do

No advertising, no tracking across apps or websites, no selling or renting data. The app contains no analytics or advertising SDKs. This website uses no cookies and no analytics.

Where data is processed

Price reports are stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore, European region) and Amazon Web Services (Ireland). Anonymous sign-in is provided by Google Firebase Authentication. Photos are processed only in Amazon Web Services (Ireland). These providers act as our processors.

How long we keep it

Photos: one day. Price reports and contribution counts: for as long as FuelRadar operates, because they make up the price history drivers rely on, unless you ask us to delete them.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to its use. Email support@joblar.com. Because we don't know who you are, please write from the app (Profile → Help & Support) so we can match your anonymous contributions. You can also complain to the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).

Permissions

Location and camera are optional. Without location you can still browse the map. Without the camera you can still enter prices by hand. You can change either at any time in iOS Settings.

Children

FuelRadar is not directed at children under 16.
